Isa sa pinaka-successful na esports pros sa buong mundo ang captain ng Team Secret na si Clement “Puppey” Ivanov.

Siya ang isa sa dalawang players na nag-compete sa bawat edition ng The International (si Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi ng Team Nigma ang isa), at isang winner ng pinakaunang The International kasama si Natus Vincere noong 2011. Si Puppey ang isa sa mga iilang professional players na nanatiling nasa top ng kaniyang game malipas ang sampung taon.

Tinanong ng ONE Esports kay Puppey kung ano ang naguudyok sa kaniya para mag-succeed.

“For me, it’s the incredible amount of interest I have in Dota 2. I truly love its essence and what puzzles it provides me to figure out,” sabi ni Puppey. “I also really like the teamwork aspect of it. The complexity of the game gets very high when many individuals work hard to succeed and it’s a beautiful sight to see.”

Nang may mahigit na 100 professional tournaments sa kaniyang career, nakapagbiyahe na si Puppey sa mahigit 30 na bansa para makipag-compete. Ngunit kahit na matapos ang sampung taon ng pagbiyahe, mahilig pa rin mag-travel si Puppey.

“For me personally, it is about expanding your view of the world. It is a great experience to meet new people from different cultures and I always cherish it,” sabi ni Puppey.

“I have found many lasting friends through my travels and I won’t stop any time soon.”

Ibinunyag ng captain ng Team Secret kung bakit niya napili ang Tumi. “I think the most important part about traveling is comfort. I feel way more relaxed when I have all my things neatly packed in compartments that are easily accessible. Para naman sa kung ano ang dinadala ni Puppey sa mga biyahe niya, sabi niya, “I usually pack two sets of gear (for gaming), headphones, cleaning products, medicine, any paperwork necessary for the trip, passport, phone charger, adapters, water, toothbrush, toothpaste, and probably other smaller things.”

Magkakaroon ng special appearance si Puppey sa episode ng The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition ngayong linggo kung saan hihingan siya ng payo ng Team Valor at Team Conquest tungkol sa mga kailangan gawin ng isang professional na esports champion.
