Todo ang suporta ng Smart Communications para sa national esports team ng Pilipinas na SIBOL sa kanilang paparating na paglahok sa 31st Southeast Asian Games sa Hanoi, Vietnam ngayong Mayo.

Basas, SVP at Head of Consumer Wireless Business sa Smart.
Sabi naman ng Philippines Esports Organization (PESO) an nasa ilalim ng Philippine Olympic Committee, ang pagsali ng Pilipinas sa paparating na SEA games ay isang historikal na pangyayari para sa bansa.
“This is a historical feat for Philippine esports. Our 54-strong SIBOL delegation — including the first all-female team — for SEA Games is one of the biggest in the country. This was made possible with the support of the government and industry partners who paved the way and made this dream a reality,” sabi ni Marlon Marcelo, PESO Interim Executive Director.
Paglahok ng SIBOL sa paparating na 31st Southeast Asian Games
54 esports athletes mula sa SIBOL ang mag-rerepresenta sa Pilipinas para sa SEA Games. Iba’t-ibang mga laro ang sasalihan nila tulad ng Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends Wild Rift Men’s at Women’s Division, Crossfire, League of Legends, Arena of Valor, FreeFire: PUBG Mobile, at FIFA Online 4.
Matagal nang sinusuporta ng Smart ang esports scene sa Pilipinas, at mayroon silang sariling esports professional teams tulad ng Smart Omega at Smart Omega Empress.
